Trustero has launched a third-party risk management module that applies its existing AI engine to vendor documentation. The company says the tool handles the logistics of chasing attestations and reading questionnaires, then presents a recommended risk determination for human review.
The system uses an agentic orchestrator to track changes and move assessments forward, escalating anything that needs a person or an outside system. Customers can define risk tiers, so low-risk vendors get minimal vetting while high-risk ones are asked for certifications, insurance, funding status, and cloud-specific answers.
The product runs on the same platform as Trustero's existing compliance program, avoiding a separate silo. A company executive and a cybersecurity leader both stress that the AI does the first-pass judgment but a human reviews every conclusion, which they say makes it practical for security teams to adopt.
