Microsoft reminded customers this week that Windows 11 24H2 Home and Pro editions are nearing their end-of-support date. According to BleepingComputer, devices running these editions will stop receiving updates as of October.

In practical terms, end of support means the end of monthly security patches. Vulnerabilities discovered after that point will not be fixed for 24H2 Home and Pro, leaving unpatched machines at greater risk of exploitation.

With only one source, there are no conflicting reports. The reminder is a clear signal for users still on 24H2 to update before the October cutoff.
