A 16-year-old Twitch streamer in Cologne was involved in an incident where a remote-controlled robot touched a girl's buttocks and made thrusting movements, according to police. The police press release treated the robot and circumstances as mysterious, and major outlets like CNN, CBC, and the BBC repeated that framing with little additional reporting.

404 Media argues that the mystery dissolves with a quick internet search. The robot is a commercially available Unitree R1, costing around $5,000, and the streamer, known as Agaamuza, had been using it for weeks in prank videos with friends, calling the robot "Ahmad." In the livestream, the robot walks into a group of girls, one says "stop," and the streamers laugh and keep bothering them.

The outlet notes that this kind of harassment is not new territory—men using livestreams and cameras to harass women happens constantly on Twitch and other platforms. What is unusual, the source says, is that police appear to be taking the case seriously. The streamer has denied groping, saying the robot simply ran into the girl, but the broader pattern of public harassment remains familiar.
