In response, a player named Solastro created OlympusMute, a client-side mod that hides all chat from players associated with Asmongold's guilds. The mod filters out messages from anyone with "Olympus" in their name, covering say, yell, whisper, guild, and instance chat, and also auto-declines group and guild invites from those players.
The mod is a reaction to a specific problem: Asmongold's community has been observed harassing random players and filling the capital city with hateful content, including slurs and calls for violence.
