Inmo has issued a recall for its Air3 smart glasses after reports that the left temple can overheat during extended use, posing a burn hazard. The recall, coordinated with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, covers over 1,600 units sold in the US and Canada between December 2025 and August 2026 through the company's website, Amazon, and Kickstarter.

There have been 10 reports of users experiencing a burning sensation on the face and left ear. The company is offering a free software update to address the issue, and advises customers to stop using the glasses immediately and contact support.

Notably, reviews from as far back as seven months ago had already flagged the overheating issue, and the company had included a protective sleeve to mitigate the heat. This suggests prior awareness of the problem before the formal recall.
