WIRED's latest coupon guide for Valvoline, published for September 2026, rounds up current promotions for both do-it-yourselfers and customers who prefer a quick oil-change stop. The article notes that Valvoline Instant Oil Change operates more than 2,100 US locations and positions itself as a cheaper and faster alternative to car dealerships — typically around half an hour per visit.
The available discounts include $10 off a conventional oil change and $15 off a synthetic-blend oil change, both covering up to five quarts of Valvoline oil, a filter, lube and maintenance check, and tax. The $15 synthetic-blend coupon is singled out as the writer's personal pick, especially for hybrid and luxury vehicles, trucks that tow, or engines that need extra care.
For those who buy oil in bulk, Valvoline's Subscribe and Save program offers tiered discounts on motor oil, gear oil, or transmission fluid, with savings up to 25% on larger purchases. There is also a $5 rebate available when buying five quarts of Valvoline Motor Oil or one gallon of Premium Blue Heavy Diesel Engine Oil at participating farm stores, limited to three rebates per customer.
