Schneider Electric's third-quarter revenue hit a record high, driven by continued strength in global data center construction, according to Utility Dive. The company's energy management segment is a major beneficiary as operators expand computing infrastructure that requires substantial power and cooling equipment.
North America still accounts for the largest share of revenue in that segment, the report notes. However, growth is shifting geographically: China and East Asia recorded higher organic growth than other regions, both for the quarter and for the year to date.
The figures underscore how the data center buildout is becoming a key driver for climate- and energy-related technology suppliers, even as regional growth patterns differ.
