SDLG Brasil has closed its first sale in South America, handing over an order of six heavy-duty electric wheel loaders to Grupo Base, a Brazilian company active in mining, construction, and infrastructure.
The purchase gives SDLG an early foothold in Brazil's heavy-equipment market with an all-electric product line. The loaders replace conventional diesel equipment in a sector where electrification has been slow to arrive.
With this first Brazilian sale, SDLG now has a reference customer in the country. The delivery offers a concrete example of electric loaders entering a major Latin American mining and construction market, though broader adoption will depend on performance and local charging infrastructure.
