United Airlines has introduced an online tracker that lets passengers check whether a specific flight will have Starlink Wi-Fi. The tool accepts a flight number and travel date within three days of departure, and provides real-time updates if the aircraft changes. It also shows which daily departures have Starlink, broken down by hub and aircraft type.
The airline says 635 mainline and regional planes are now equipped, making Starlink available on nearly half of its daily departures. United began testing the service in January 2025 after announcing the partnership with SpaceX in September 2024. According to Starlink Flights, United currently operates more Starlink-equipped flights than any other carrier.
United is installing Starlink on about 20 planes per week and expects to complete the rollout by the end of 2027. The tracker supplements existing pre-flight notifications, giving passengers a way to monitor last-minute hardware changes. Other airlines offering Starlink include Emirates, Qatar Airways, WestJet, SAS, Alaska Airlines, and Air France.
